Welcome to The Movement Exercise Physiology ("The Movement EP," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, https://www.themovementep.com.au (the "Site"), and the booking and delivery of our exercise physiology services. By accessing this Site, booking an appointment, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book our services.
1. About Our Services
The Movement EP provides exercise physiology services, including but not limited to injury rehabilitation, chronic disease management, ageing and aged care programs, pre-natal and post-partum exercise, weight loss and strength training, adolescent health programs, home visits, and services delivered under Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plans, the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Workers' Compensation, and CTP insurance schemes.
2. Bookings and Appointments
Appointments may be booked through our website, by phone, or by email. Upon booking an appointment with The Movement EP, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including our cancellation and payment policies set out below.
3. Cancellation Policy
-
We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
-
Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows with less than 48 hours' notice will incur the full session fee.
-
This full-fee cancellation policy also applies in cases of illness, unless otherwise agreed with your practitioner at their discretion.
-
No-shows (failing to attend a scheduled appointment without notice) will be charged the full session fee.
By booking an appointment with The Movement EP, whether online, by phone, or via email, you acknowledge and agree to this 48-hour cancellation policy.
4. Credit Card and Payment Information
When you provide your credit card details to secure a booking, we store this information securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection standards. We do not sell, rent, or share your payment information with third parties other than our payment processing providers.
We reserve the right to charge the credit card provided at the time of booking in the following circumstances: a no-show for a scheduled appointment, cancellation or rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice, and cancellation due to illness where 48 hours' notice has not been provided.
Full payment for services is generally required at the time of consultation, unless the appointment is billed directly through Medicare, DVA, NDIS, Workers' Compensation, or CTP insurance in accordance with the relevant scheme's billing arrangements.
5. No Guarantee of Clinical Outcome
While our Exercise Physiologists are university-trained allied health professionals who design programs based on current evidence and best practice, we cannot guarantee specific clinical outcomes. Results vary between individuals depending on a range of factors, including your health status, adherence to the program, and any pre-existing conditions.
6. Health Information and Informed Consent
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health, medical history, and any relevant conditions prior to and during your program. Withholding or misrepresenting relevant health information may affect the safety and effectiveness of your exercise program, and The Movement EP is not liable for any adverse outcome arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
7. Referral and Funding Pathways
Services delivered under Medicare, DVA, NDIS, Workers' Compensation, or CTP insurance are subject to the eligibility criteria, session limits, and billing rules of the relevant scheme. It is your responsibility to ensure you hold a valid and current referral or funding approval where required. We are not responsible for any gap fees or unfunded sessions arising from an expired, invalid, or insufficient referral or approval.
